The NRC Consumer Choice Award identifies the most-preferred hospitals in more than 250 U.S. markets. The awards are based on consumer preference responses to surveys from more than 200,000 U.S. households. These households represent more than 400,000 consumers.
This is the 13th year NRC has awarded hospitals whose consumers have recognized them for providing quality healthcare services. Winners are named in Modern Healthcare magazine.
NRC was founded in 1981 in response to calls in the healthcare industry for data that profiles physician, provider and health plan performance.
NRC focuses on continual improvement in patient experience and performance measurement within the healthcare industry.
NRC conducts market research studies for thousands of healthcare organizations including health systems, hospitals, HMOs, medical groups, federal and state agencies, employers and business coalitions.
