

Nagi Iskander is the Medical Advisor to the Center for International Health and Telemedicine. He coordinates inquiries, medical consultations and treatment of international patients at Cedars-Sinai. In addition, he serves as a liaison between international patients and healthcare providers throughout the Medical Center.
Mr. Iskander received his medical degree from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1980. He received his postgraduate degree in Maternal and Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians, Dublin, Ireland in 1984. He was also granted a diploma in Tropical Medicine and International Health from New York Medical College, New York in 1993. More recently, he received a Master of Public Health degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 2004.
Throughout most of his clinical career, Mr. Iskander worked in different countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Italy. In addition, he spent more than 14 years in the Middle East. During this time, he experienced and learned the traditions, lifestyles, and customs of people in this region. His experience helped shaped his ability to respond to the needs, likes, and dislikes of patients from around world.
With more than six years experience working in the international health field, Mr. Iskander helps Middle Eastern patients make the most of their stay in the United States. He coordinates treatment plans, translates medical literature and educational materials to Arabic language, and helps facilitate patient travel to the United States.
