Norman Schulman, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates. Dr. Schulman is the Vice Chief of Medical Staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Chairman of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
Dr. Schulman earned his medical degree at the University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School. His bachelor's degree is from Adelphi University, Garden City, N.Y. He served his internship at Kings County-Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. He performed his residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Schulman completed a research fellowship at University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School.
Before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in 1995, Dr. Schulman was in private practice for 21 years. He has served on various committees during his time with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, including the Medical Executive Committee, Infectious Disease Committee, OB/GYN Advisory Committee, Hospital Credential Committee, Radiology Advisory Committee, and Constitution Committee. From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Schulman was the Clinical Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also the holder of three U.S. patents for medical devices. Dr. Schulman is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association and Los Angeles County Medical Association.
